The APEX 26.2 change I'd try first isn't a new component. It's how you deploy during development: APEXlang file-level import.
What changed
- Edit one page or shared component as an
.apxfile and import just that file, not the whole application. - It works from SQLcl and from the SQL Developer extension for VS Code, not from App Builder.
- Oracle positions it for development environments. Production deployments should still use a full application import.
Also in 26.2
- AI Interactive Reports: users add computed columns in plain language, and key phrases like sort and filter are handled by APEX without calling an AI service.
- Workflows: custom outcomes for action tasks, draft activities, and
APEX_WORKFLOW.MIGRATE_INSTANCEto move a running instance to a newer version.

Keep your
.apx files in Git and review changes per page in a pull request. Small diffs are easier to review and easier to roll back.Sources: APEX 26.2 new features and Announcing Oracle APEX 26.2.
